How to Rig It
Trailing dropper 12-18" below a Pheasant Tail or as the point fly under a tiny indicator.
How to Present It
Dead-drift in the surface film during a hatch. Mend constantly to keep it skating-free.
Why It Works
Emergers are the most vulnerable phase — half-hatched, stuck in the film, easy meal. Trout key on them when they refuse the dun.
History
Designed by Rim Chung on the South Platte tailwater. RS2 stands for 'Rim's Semblance, version 2.'
Pro Tip
When trout are rising but ignoring your dry, swap to an RS2 dropper 8" below it. Fish are eating emergers, not adults.
